Horror fans get ready to attend the 2018 Horrorfest with screenings and stars from beloved movies! The Hollywood Horrorfest is an international fundraising film festival that has four days of events that you can’t miss! The event takes place Thursday, July 26 – Sunday, July 29th at the Mayflower Club (11110 Victory Blvd, NoHo) and benefits the Vincent Price Art Museum (VPAM) at East Los Angeles College! This year special guests include Cassandra Peterson (Elvira) who will receive the Price Award, Alan Howarth will have a live concert with music from John Carpenter classics ‘They Live’, ‘Escape from New York’ and ‘Halloween’ as well as receiving the Impact Award, Kevin Tenney will celebrate the 30th anniversary of ‘Night of the Demons’ with cast and crew and a Q&A with Dee Wallace star of ‘E.T.’, ‘Cujo’, ‘The Hills have Eyes’ and ‘The Howling’ after a screening of Gary Doust’s documentary ‘Horror Movie: a Low Budget Nightmare’. I grew up watching Ms. Wallace and LOVED Cujo as a kid who ever thought a St. Bernard could be that mean ! I’m very excited for the horror shorts to see what new directors are doing with the genre on Sunday! Don’t hesitate to buy tickets since events are selling out!
