Impractical Jokers — truTV.com Four comedians and lifelong friends compete to embarrass each other out amongst the general public with a series of hilarious and outrageous dares.
I’m so excited to see the stars of truTV’s Impractical Jokers – Q, Murr, Joe and Sal again next week at the 2015 San Diego Comic Con with the new fan art exhibit! I LOVE fan art and can’t imagine what zany items the guys received!
I got to interview Q, Joe and Murr at the SDCC 2013 (via YouTube interviews) and found them not only funny but cute! Sadly all of them were take BUT that was two years ago and I’m single again so am on the prowl again for the geek of my dreams! bwa ha ha!!
I plan to check out the Museum of Impractical History at the Michael J. Wolf Fine Arts Gallery (363 5th Ave #102, San Diego, CA 92101). All in time to get ready the new season on TruTV starting July 16, Thursday at 10PM ET/PT. It’s open to the public during SDCC from Thursday, July 9 to Sunday, July 12 with a full schedule of fun for new and old fans! Q, Murr, Joe and Sal will be present at various times throughout the exhibition, which will feature fan-generated artwork and show artifacts from some of the most legendary moments in Impractical Jokers history. So head over before going to the convention on Thursday, July 9 at 10 am with a “Don’t Go Hungry on the Way to the Con” activation which will supply visitors with a complimentary Impractical Jokers-themed breakfast (Murr-ito anyone?) until noon, then beginning at 4:00 p.m., fans will be offered bite-sized snacks after a long day of panels, before closing at 7:00 p.m.
Throughout the exhibition, fans will have an opportunity to experience themed activations each day that they will recognize from popular Impractical Jokers moments, including portraits from caricature artists, spray paint tattoos chosen randomly by a spin from the Wheel of Doom, and an interactive photo booth that will put fans alongside The Jokers. A full list of activations can be found below.
Additionally, on Friday July 10 from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. visitors to the museum will be treated to an Impractical Jokers comic book signing with Q, Sal, Joe, and Murr. The comic book, The Secret Origin of truTV’s Impractical Jokers, is a reissue from a limited partnership run with DC Comics Entertainment and features an original story and new imagery from the series.
“Instead of waiting for the Smithsonian, MoMA or the Getty Center to finally launch a wing dedicated to the art of daring your best friends to embarrass themselves in public (seriously, what’s taking so long?), we decided to create the Museum of Impractical History ourselves to celebrate four successful seasons of the show and to give something back to the viewers who’ve been so supportive,” said Raymond Dooley, Vice President of Marketing at truTV. “We can’t wait for Sal, Q, Murr and Joe to invade San Diego and personally thank and reward their biggest fans with exclusive Impractical Jokers experiences just days before new episodes begin airing July 16.”
Impractical Jokers’ fourth season returns with new episodes on truTV on Thursday, July 16 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. Fans who visit the museum will also be given access to a free iTunes download of the mid-season premiere. In each episode, Q, Murr, Joe and Sal compete to embarrass each other in a series of hilariously humiliating challenges and outrageous dares, all to the amusement and consternation of the general public. At the end of every episode, the biggest loser must endure a punishment of epic proportions. They have to say it. They have to do it. You have to see it!

No not a star but will get to live out my voice actor fantasy thanks to the Nickelodeon booth i get to test out the interactive voice-record room with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) Donatello and Michelangelo. Well the voice-record room lets you do a VO for select scenes from beloved Nick TV Shows from the beginning like Rugrats and Spongebobs to their newest TMNT, the Legend of korra, Avatar and more! I’m hoping for Invader Zim and the Ren & Stimpy show but I LOVED the humor and voices from them. Really if I have time I’m going to do them ALL! bwa ha ha (had a Zim moment)!!! Did I mention that you might have the opportunity to pitch an original animated project for their first ever open call???? Nick’s animation development team be at the booth from Thursday to Saturday (July 24 – 26) looking for new shows to greenlight for it’s Global Animated Shorts program! I’m so excited to check out the booth so that I can try the Gif, take photos, pitch a show idea (not sure where i’ll find the time and/or idea but what the heck) and just see how the exhibit booth will look this year! I’m going on a limb and going to say that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be HUGE but they have such a great roster of shows that everyone will find a beloved show from childhood … well I watch them still (but I’m a kid at heart) that they’ll want to keep as a momento!
So make sure you head over to the Nick booth and get ready to live out your cartoon geek dreams! Who knows maybe you’ll see .. wait HEAR my toon voice and see my idea on Nick!

Exclusive interview with Natasha Allegri the creator of Bee and PuppyCat on YouTube at Wondercon 2014.
I had a fun brief chat with Natasha about her new show on YouTube called Bee and PuppyCat. The visual appeal of the PuppyCat was obvious with the crush of fans at the Wondercon talk. The line was around the building with people desperate to listen to the woman who’s image style can be seen in the the beloved Adventure Time. Well she’s taken the irrevelent dry humor and created a female led character series on Cartoon Hangover that has a unique fun style that will appeal to animation fans of all ages! As you can see the costumes are already being cosplayed as well as the fun items inspired by the characters which flew off the floor at Wondercon. In our brief conversation she showed me some of the fan art she had gotten while signing autographs that shows that this story idea has really inspired her fans. I have already watched the show and found it so cute from the choice of voice actors to the animation style it just is … cute!!! LOVE it. I hope that if you haven’t discovered the gem than I hope you’ll check it out. I love her unique quirky voice and style!
What do you think let me know in the comments below!
Bee and Puppycat is an American animated web series created and written by Natasha Allegri, and directed by Larry Leichliter. Fred Seibert serves as the series’ executive producer, with producers Kevin Kolde and Eric Homan, as well Allegri co-producing the series. The series revolves around Bee (voiced by Allyn Rachel), an unemployed woman in her twenties, when suddenly she encounters a mysterious creature called PuppyCat (voiced by the Vocaloid program Oliver). She adopts this apparent cat-dog hybrid, and together they go on an intergalactic babysitting gig to pay her monthly rent.
The series currently consists of a two-part episode, which was uploaded on Cartoon Hangover’s YouTube channel as two 5-minute shorts as part of Too Cool Cartoons!, as well as a 10-minute video combining the two parts. After garnering popularity online, Cartoon Hangover started its first Kickstarter project in order to fund additional episodes. The Kickstarter was started October 15, 2013, and achieved its US$600,000 goal with only 6 days left; by the end, they had raised $872,133, earning nine 6 minute episodes, of which the first would air in the summer of 2014. As of its funding date, Bee and PuppyCat became the most successful animation Kickstarter in history, the #4 film/video Kickstarter (only behind three Hollywood based projects), and the #1 Kickstarter based on a YouTube video.
Cartoon Hangover is a Frederator Studios’ television channel, part of the $100 million original channel initiative, launched in February 2012. Frederator is producing two animated series exclusively for the Internet: Bravest Warriors, created by Pendleton Ward and Bee and PuppyCat, created by Natasha Allegri. Previously, they produced SuperFuckers, created by James Kochalka. Bravest Warriors premiered on November 8, 2012 and SuperFuckers premiered on November 30, 2012. The original 10-minute film “Bee and PuppyCat” premiered in two parts; part one on July 11, 2013; and part two as well as the full film on August 6, 2013. Frederator produces its fifth cartoon shorts incubator for Cartoon Hangover, which will feature 39 shorts dubbed Too Cool! Cartoons. Cartoon Hangover, Cartoon Hangover 2 and Cartoon Hangover ESP are part of the Channel Frederator Network.

What time is it? It’s ADVENTURE TIME with Finn and Jake taking over the New Children’s Museum in Downtown San Diego. The museum is going to have an exclusive experience during SDCC with a special exhibit inspired by the fan favorite episode ‘Adventure Time: Keyper Seeker’ that will allow visitors to enter the Land of Ooo!
The Keyper will welcome visitors to the museum with a special key and riddle that IF answered correctly will give you access to an extra-special prize locked inside. I wonder if we can USE the Keyper’s hat as the key?? tee hee Even more exciting is the Adventure Time exhibit featuring fan-generated artwork that represents one of my favorite animated series! It will only be on display during the San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) from July 11 – 15, 2012.
