It’s going to be a sneak peek into the 22nd season of South Park full of mayhem that’s coming to Comedy Central on Wednesday, September 26th! The SDCC Experience is a taste that will hit major cities across the USA. Be prepared and respect Cartman’s authority because the escape room is for the fans! To escape it will take 10 fans to pool their South Park knowledge to free themselves by solving puzzles and is open to everyone. Member Berries Challenge can be found at Booth 23729 in the convention center (SDCC Badge required for entry) and is a 3D replica from ‘Member Berries’ episode where fans will join Randy at the dinner table where fans will take Sharon and Shelly’s seats. You have to answer trivia questions correctly OR Member Berry Juice will spew on the losing player <ewww>. If you don’t trust your South Park knowledge don’t despair because ponchos and protective glasses are available <chicken brkk brkk> (I want to be clear poncho/glasses for one right here!). CC is bringing lots of fun fan games and iconic scene photo experiences at the booth so make sure all South Park fans head over and RESPECT MAH AUTHORITY!

Cartman’s Escape Room is making its worldwide debut at Comic-Con. Trapped! Caught in another one of Cartman’s schemes, fans will now enter the most impossible to escape place ever invented. Ten South Park fans will have a limited amount of time solve a series of puzzles using what they know about South Park to free themselves… before it’s too late. This new South Park activation is free and open to the public at the San Diego Wine Center (200 Harbor Dr. #12, across from the Convention Center) from Thursday, July 19 through Saturday, July 21 from 9:30 a.m.- 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, July 22 from 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
South Park’s Member Berries Challenge (booth #23729 inside Convention Center) will transport fans into a 3D replica scene from the iconic “Member Berries” episode. While joining Randy at the Marsh family dinner table, fans will take the Member Berries Challenge – where they will be asked three South Park trivia questions as they sit in Sharon and Shelly’s seats. If the fan answers all three correctly, they will walk away clean and be rewarded with their very own limited edition Member Berry. However, if a fan answers incorrectly, Member Berry juice will spew out of Randy’s mouth on to the losing player! Ponchos and protective glasses will be available. In addition to the Member Berries Challenge, fans will also get the opportunity to jump in to other iconic scenes from the series and play other South Park themed games.

Amazon Prime Video has a San Diego Comic Con takeover with Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan Fan Experience!
The four day geekfest is giving Amazon the opportunity to bring old friends and introduce new ones to the international comic con! They have one panel with creators and cast members including Carlton Cuse, showrunner and Executive Producer of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan; Ben Edlund creator of The Tick; Sam Esmail director of Homecoming; Neil Gaiman creator, writer, and showrunner of Good Omens; Gale Anne Hurd Executive Producer of Lore; and Naren Shankar showrunner of The Expanse. The second panel is with The Man in the High Castle Executive Producers Isa Dick Hackett and Daniel Percival; and cast members Alexa Davalos, Rufus Sewell, Jason O’Mara, and Stephen Root.

Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan Fan Experience
At the Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan fan experience, Comic-Con attendees will step into the world of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan and be thrust into a dangerous field assignment that turns them into unexpected heroes. Visitors will complete the Jack Ryan Training Field by infiltrating, fighting and evading the enemy to gain full field clearance. They will then use that training to help Jack Ryan himself in Dark Ops, a groundbreaking escape room that recreates the pilot episode of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan. Attendees can also explore the Middle Eastern bazaar which has assignments to be completed at every turn, watch a live leaderboard and pick up some iconic Jack Ryan swag.
The Jack Ryan Training Field is a hyper-reality virtual reality spy experience where participants can prove they have what it takes to be a hero. Heroes in training will go through a series of thrilling true-to-life experiences including rappelling from a helicopter, traversing between dangerous high rise buildings, and zip-lining to ground level. Created with MediaMonks, the Jack Ryan Training Field stands over 30 feet tall and uses the latest Optitrack 4D and Oculus Rift technology to make visitors physically feel as if they were thrust into the action.
Dark Ops is a first of its kind escape room, created by AKQA and Unit 9, which lets participants live the first episode of Jack Ryan. Participants will be tasked with offering remote assistance to Jack Ryan in Dark Ops, where teams of rookie analysts will have to dig deep to uncover a plot of double-crossing, top secret information and an extremist plot set to be put in motion at any minute.
The Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan fan experience will take place Thursday, July 19 through Sunday, July 22 at the park located at the corner of 1st street and Martin Luther King Promenade – directly across from the San Diego Convention Center. It will be open daily from 9 am to 7 pm Thursday through Saturday, and 9 am to 5 pm on Sunday.

Our aim was to create an experience that would take the viewer through multiple levels of Haller’s altered states of consciousness. A flood of moments, thoughts, and memories are reflected into fragmented mirrored surfaces, these kaleidoscopic reflections completely surround us and we have the sense of assuming the characters’ psychological POV. I produced “Fracture” with THE MILL, the world-renowned Visual Effects & Design Company with whom I’ve worked with many times before. Working together, we were able to achieve start-of-the-art production values for this immersive experience,” artist Marco Brambilla said.
I’m beyond excited to attend the opening of the 360 degree art exhibit of one of my favorite Marvel shows. I was curious when they announced Legion at SDCC two years ago but had no idea what to expect but from the first episode I knew this was unlike any other series on tv. The twists and turns, unexpected emotional connection and well it’s darned scary! Now with the premier just next week I can’t imagine the fan experience that FX has put together for all the lucky fangirls/fanboys in LA but I’m all in!
Any fan of the Marvel series LEGION has seen the madness but now we get to experience it in 360 degrees. Marco Brambilla Studio was inspired to create a one-of-a-kind presentation taking place at the Goya Studios in Hollywood. Fans will experience David’s altered states of reality as they try to figure out whats in their imagination and real as we count down the days to S2 from Noah Hawley, Executive Producer of the surreal drama.

Based on the Marvel Comics by Chris Claremont and Bill Sienkiewicz, Legion is the story of “David Haller” (Dan Stevens), a man who believed himself to be schizophrenic only to discover that he may actually be the most powerful mutant the world has ever seen.

I have to say that every year I’m impressed with the fan experience the History channel brings for the Vikings series. I will always remember the snakes <shiver> and now this Viking Funeral taking place on Friday, 7/21 from 7-8PM has me ready to go to Valhalla!

The popular “Vikings” drinking horn program returns, giving thousands of horn-shaped beer vessels to eager and thirsty fans. Select bars will offer special drink discounts for horn holders. VIKINGS “WARRIOR’S ALLEGIANCE” CONVENTION CENTER BOOTH – July 19-23 – Booth #4215
A new generation of warriors is rising in the Vikings world and fans have the opportunity to be immersed in it by showing off their swordplay in a video booth. Fans will get into character by selecting their weapon of choice and garbing themselves in Viking gear. A time-slice camera array will capture footage of each fan demonstrating their best battle moves with Ragnar’s sons – Bjorn, Ivar the Boneless, Ubbe and Hvitserk. Video will be available to share on social platforms.
Also available to fans while supplies last is a custom “Vikings” limited edition comicbook from a story created by Michael Hirst, exclusively for SDCC.
“Knightfall: Guardians of the Gear” – July 20-23 – MLK Promenade
HISTORY is setting the stage for SDCC attendees to discover its newest drama series “Knightfall” before it premieres by offering an essential service that is new to the convention – “Knightfall: Guardians of the Gear.” The Holy Grail required protection of the Knights Templar, and SDCC attendees can count on that same protection for their own personal belongings by storing them in HISTORY’s “Knightfall: Guardians of the Gear.” Located along the MLK Promenade in the Gaslamp Quarter, our knights will guard attendees swag while they explore the rest of Comic–Con.

I’m so ready to fangirl after hearing what FX Networks is bringing to SDCC!
This year they are bringing Legion, the Strain (NOOOO it’s the final season), Archer, Atlanta and American Horror Story as they take over the Hilton Bayfront Park at San Diego Comic Con
Make sure if your a fan of the Strain to come see a special sneak peek screening on July 21 with the first two episodes from 7 – 9PM.
This years FXhibition is going to be even bigger than last year with interactive experiences that will have you on the edge of your seat! The installation is from July 20-23 ready to keep fans of FX Network ready to tune in and drop in living out fanboy/fangirl dreams .. or is that horrors the Strain is on the lawn too! I was hooked on Legion after episode three so am very curious about the Sessions: The Legion Mixed Reality Experience that will be powered by Microsoft HoloLens and bring the series to life or nightmare. You will be ‘David Hailer’ using the HoloLens to be a part of his world and test his world. You can make reservations beginning July 17th at LegionSessions.com
American Horror Story fans will get a chance to get a tease of the upcoming season with the larger than life AHS Zoetrope that promises to show the series in a new chilling and (am sure) horrifying way. Fans will also get to learn the title of the new AHS series July 20 with Ryan Murphy announcing the news! Exhibition will have a photo booth inspired by the freshman series Atlanta.
Other sharable video and photo opportunities at “FXhibition” include:
- The FX Scene Stealer, which will use the power of green screen technology to allow attendants to star in personalized scenes from original series like It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Archer, Legion, and The Strain.
- The Strain Sun Protection Station, which will feature some of the show’s iconic props including Bolivar’s head and multiple stingers, as well as provide life-saving sunscreen to protect fans from harmful rays.
- Snowfall Lacing Station, where fans can get their own sneakers re-laced by experts in unique styles with FX-branded laces.
- The Archer Wet Bar will encourage fans to rehydrate with water.
- FX Swag Box, a branded claw machine to distribute limited edition prizes, an experience that fans will want to share.

Impractical jokers unite! Starting next Thursday, July 21st-Saturday, July 23rd, truTV’s Impractical Jokers will be taking over San Diego alongside the much anticipated Comic Con International. Your very own Cherry LA
will be there to interview the cast, which includes all the Tenderloins: Sal, Joe, Murr, and Q, so don’t forget to add your questions to the comment section!
They’re kicking things off with a bang on Thursday, July 21st from 12-10pm by following up last year’s Museum of Impractical Jokers with the Hall of Impractical Jokers. For three days, Comic Con attendees can get up close and personal with some of the best jokes and artifacts from the show, while playing custom games like “Pin the Tail on the Ferret with Blackout Glasses” and pleasing their inner foodie with themed drinks and food. There will also be a live-streamed Q&A with the whole Tenderloin squad and CherryLA asking questions at 6:30pm. You don’t want to miss this madness at Dick’s Last Resort in San Diego’s Gaslamp district!
But the best is saved for last when on Saturday, July 23rd they move venues to The Park at Petco Park (Seventh Avenue and K Street) from 3:30-8pm for a block part of impractical size. While there, attendees can try their hands at some of the show’s most beloved dares and punishments like, “Pseudo Sumo” where participants can try out sumo wrestling, and “Rodeo Clown” for the brave souls wanting to ride a mechanical bull. With music from DJ Sid Vicious, and an autograph signing with the Jokers from 4-5pm, this is the place to be.
IMPRACTICAL JOKERS BLOCK PARTY
Saturday, July 23 from 3:00-8:30 p.m. PT at The Park at Petco Park
On Saturday, July 23, join truTV and thousands of fans at the one-of-a-kind Block Party extravaganza celebrating all things Impractical Jokers. Unlike anything you’ve ever seen – unless, of course, you’re a New Yorker who grew up going to neighborhood block parties and street fairs – this massive block party will give fans a chance to get up close and personal with some of the show’s most exciting and iconic dares and punishments. Things like:
Pseudo Sumo: Trying their hand at sumo wrestling (Season 4; Episode 11)
Rodeo Clown: Riding a mechanical bull (Season 3; Episode 9)
Field of Screams: Navigating a corn maze with Benjamin the Cat (Season 3; Episode 3)
High Wire Hijinks: Walking a 20-foot tightrope (100th Episode Live Special)
There will be lots to do, including music from DJ Sid Vicious, food, an autograph signing with the Jokers from 4:00-5:00 p.m. and an exclusive sneak peek of a never-before-seen episode of Impractical Jokers starting at 8:00 p.m.
All activities are free and open to the public on a first come, first served basis.

New episodes from Impractical Jokers’ fifth season return on Thursday, July 14 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT with a special hour-long episode that drops the four long-time friends in London for Impractical Jokers: British Invasion. The special will be followed by the series premiere of Impractical Jokers: Inside Jokes at 11:00pm ET/PT which packs classic, fan-favorite episodes of the show with sharable pop-up facts throughout.

Awoo Teen Wolf fans get ready to howl on Thursday, July 21 for the panel full of surprises for the MTV hit supernatural drama AND an exclusive first look at the Season 6 trailer
MTV is taking over the convention hall with the ultimate fan experience with an interactive Virtual Reality activation with the first-to-market gaze activated technology at Booth #3729. MTV fans can meet and get autographs from Teen Wolf & the Shannara Chronicles. The booth will have cool swag to hand out all weekend with MTV portable chairs, MTV iFans, Teen Wolf Fangs, both series and more for geek fans at SDCC.
The signing schedule for the MTV booth will be announced via MTV “Teen Wolf” Social on Twitter and Instagram with #TeenWolfSDCC.
