I didn’t realize that I would want a Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War t-shirt or sweatshirt after seeing the movie but Araca Group is reading my mind with this great selection that will be so convenient after seeing the film! I do love easy impulse buys and the Limited Edition ‘Live Event’ Marvel’s items at select stores has my geek collector senses tingling (did you see the Spiderman reference spidey senses) with commemorative ticket and tour t-shirt. The popups will be available at select retail locations in movie theaters in the continental US selling eleven limited-time products of the ‘Battle Begins’ collections.
I’m already drooling over the limited addition ticket but the artwork will be unique to the popups available 88 locations across North America. Hmm I wonder if my friend up in Canada will want me to pick something up! I know he loves Marvel and the choices between t-shirts, sweatshirts and hats with a custom design for the release of the movie will be popular for any fan even if your more team Scarlet Witch. I hope that the designs include some of my favorite characters that aren’t getting all the merch love they deserve! Check out thebattlebeginsmerchandise.com for specific locations to get your geek fashion on and don’t hesitate since I’m sure certain designs will fly onto our bodies.
“We aim to expand the movie going experience by bringing fans unexpected products in a unique shopping experience” said Michael Rego, Chief Executive Officer of The Araca Group. “We are thrilled to offer fans limited-time Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War merchandise for the ultimate live-event experience.”
The Pop-Up Retail Locations will open May 6th in theater lobbies for a limited time, so don’t wait to get your Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War products before they are gone.

I think fashion is art and you can have a first glimpse of the upcoming The First Monday in May with Facebook Live Q&A with Facebook LIVE Q&A with Andrew Bolton and Anna Winter.
If you were not able to watch the talk live on Facebook I have the link for the talk about the creation of The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s most attended fashion exhibition in history, “China: Through The Looking Glass,” an exploration of Chinese-inspired Western fashions by Costume Institute curator Andrew Bolton. With unprecedented access, filmmaker Andrew Rossi captures the collision of high fashion and celebrity at the Met Gala, one of the biggest global fashion events chaired every year by Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour. Featuring a cast of renowned artists in many fields (including filmmaker Wong Kar Wai and fashion designers Karl Lagerfeld, Jean Paul Gaultier and John Galliano) as well as a host of contemporary pop icons like Rihanna, the movie dives into the debate about whether fashion should be viewed as art.

I was invited to attend the Kimora Lee Simmons Spring 2016 Preview on Saturday in Beverly Hills. It was my first time at the boutique and was enraptured with the blend of sexy tough fashion all made in NYC. This year Spring is all about Black, White, Silver (metallic) and Cobalt Blue with a body conscious fit that will caress a woman’s curves.
The leather mini Miyoki Tote comes in Red and Dresden Blue is $995. The Nero Black is leather and pony skin for $1,200. The Italian leather and curve of the design holds all of your essential items while fitting perfectly in your hands. If (like me) you want a larger bag to carry an iPad or laptop I recommend you consider the full size Miyoki Tote (see above) that comes in Warm Grey, Blush Pink, Dresden Blue and Nero Black for $1,500. You can sling it over your shoulder with the handles, wear across your body with the detachable strap or grasp in your hands. The bags are well crafted and able to withstand a busy life of running to work, being tossed in the car and meeting with clients. Style and function in one package. I love the clean lines and that the bags are not overtly logo’d. Instead the design simply stand out on their own and draws attention to the leather and style that reminds me of origami and hexagons.
The manager of KLS Beverly Hills personalized the dress with great heels and bracelet.
Three fashion Blogger Babes were chosen to personalize three items from the 2016 Spring line. I loved how each woman represented their personal style but I was drawn to the rock & roll look she sported. I suppose it’s because of my love of Stevie Nicks! The only thing missing was one of the delicious leather biker jackets!
As I perused the store I fell in love with the Leather Biker Jackets that are available in Metallic Silver, Black, White and White with Black Sleeve. I had NO idea my wardrobe was missing a Biker Jacket! The details are what really made me fell in love from the zipper on the sleeve so that you can change the length to the fit that’s feminine but still biker tough <sigh> I’d make one sexy Hell’s Angel in this on a Harley! Thank you Kimora for filling my Biker Fantasy void <tee hee>!
I enjoyed the options for work, play and dating but am focusing on professional style. The wool pinstripe pants with sheer blouses are perfect for New York, Los Angeles and anywhere in between. The gunmetal buttons are timeless and can be worn forever! The lines won’t go out of style and as you look for items to update your wardrobe for Spring 2016 KLS has the items to mix and match for any style. It’s for the woman who wants to LOOK like a woman but still demands to be treated equally.
