I’m so ready to fangirl after hearing what FX Networks is bringing to SDCC!
This year they are bringing Legion, the Strain (NOOOO it’s the final season), Archer, Atlanta and American Horror Story as they take over the Hilton Bayfront Park at San Diego Comic Con
Make sure if your a fan of the Strain to come see a special sneak peek screening on July 21 with the first two episodes from 7 – 9PM.
This years FXhibition is going to be even bigger than last year with interactive experiences that will have you on the edge of your seat! The installation is from July 20-23 ready to keep fans of FX Network ready to tune in and drop in living out fanboy/fangirl dreams .. or is that horrors the Strain is on the lawn too! I was hooked on Legion after episode three so am very curious about the Sessions: The Legion Mixed Reality Experience that will be powered by Microsoft HoloLens and bring the series to life or nightmare. You will be ‘David Hailer’ using the HoloLens to be a part of his world and test his world. You can make reservations beginning July 17th at LegionSessions.com
American Horror Story fans will get a chance to get a tease of the upcoming season with the larger than life AHS Zoetrope that promises to show the series in a new chilling and (am sure) horrifying way. Fans will also get to learn the title of the new AHS series July 20 with Ryan Murphy announcing the news! Exhibition will have a photo booth inspired by the freshman series Atlanta.
Other sharable video and photo opportunities at “FXhibition” include:
- The FX Scene Stealer, which will use the power of green screen technology to allow attendants to star in personalized scenes from original series like It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Archer, Legion, and The Strain.
- The Strain Sun Protection Station, which will feature some of the show’s iconic props including Bolivar’s head and multiple stingers, as well as provide life-saving sunscreen to protect fans from harmful rays.
- Snowfall Lacing Station, where fans can get their own sneakers re-laced by experts in unique styles with FX-branded laces.
- The Archer Wet Bar will encourage fans to rehydrate with water.
- FX Swag Box, a branded claw machine to distribute limited edition prizes, an experience that fans will want to share.

If you haven’t been watching Guillermo Del Toro and Carlton Cuse horror series The Strain you’ve missed out on one of the best series on TV. You can watch either streaming on Hulu or grab a disc/blu ray at local retailers.
I found this ‘vampire’ series fascinating because it sort of fits with my belief that vampires are scary as F! I mean I love the idea of being young forever but I’ve never thought they’d be beautiful and the idea of bringing blood is soo gross. I mean I’ve never seen a comic book or movie where people talk about rather vampires could get STDs or AIDS especially when they were humans.
The Strain handles the idea that humans would no longer be at the top of the food chain in a scary way. I mean who would really believe that Vampires would exist and that they were killing people. I mean the average person would not believe ‘their own lying’ eyes if they saw an attack or would run screaming (I know I would run like a scalded cat).
If the Master offered to turn you (a higher Vamp) would you say yes? Or would you be team human fighting against the scourge?
Seasons 1-2 Now Streaming Only On Hulu
Season 3 Premieres on FX – Sunday, August 28 at 10 PM ET/PT

Attend PaleyLive panel for the FXX comedy series It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia with the cast/creators talking about working on the series for 11 years. A show that was like nothing else on TV when it premiered with Rob, Glenn and Charlie pitching to FX a crazy slice of life Philly centric show.
An Evening with It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Screening & Conversation
Friday, April 1, 2016
7:00 pm PT
Rob McElhenney, “Mac”/Creator & Executive Producer
Glenn Howerton, “Dennis Reynolds”/Creator & Executive Producer
Charlie Day, “Charlie”/Executive Producer
Kaitlin Olson, “Sweet Dee”
Additional panelists to be announced.
One of the longest-running comedies in cable history, this FXX original series from creator Rob McElhenney about Irish bar owners in Philly continues to spotlight dark humor and main characters who can’t seem to do anything right. Often referred to as “Seinfeld on crack,” Always Sunny does not shy away from pointed social commentary, taking on such controversial topics as rape culture, homophobia, and religious bigotry. After eleven years on the air, the show is still the critics’ favorite underdog, as Emily Nussbaum of the New Yorker has pointed out: “Always Sunny has become the milk-steak of sitcoms: the perfect food that no one has ever heard of.” Upon a successful recent season finale, Matthew Rozsa of Salon declared that the series “hasn’t lost any of its edge, mining dark comedy out of a twisted mythology that it has had more than a decade to develop.” The creative team of Always Sunny will discuss the evolution of the series and how they are preparing for their twelfth season.

Who DOESN’T love pink dolphins and Archer for a good cause? I’m super excited that I can pull a Pam for $25 with this Pink Dolphin hand puppet from Factory Entertainment. You just never know who and how people have been touched by cancer. Most of us .. well all we can do is a walk or donate and of course support our loved ones but if your Jordan Schwartz, CEO of Factory Entertainment you can merge your geek with charity. This year Mr. Schwartz with his Archer licensing decided to be inspired to go pink with Susan G. Komen. In the second season of the FX fan favorite Sterling was diagnosed with breast cancer that was played for laughs and to bring awareness that it’s not just a ‘women’s’ disease and Mr. Schwartz lost his mother to breast cancer. Well this year he decided that you can merge fun, geek and collectibles with this Pink Dolphin Project. First of all at only $25 EVERYONE can buy this puppet to keep, love and remember. If your not able to attend San Diego Comic Con Factory Entertainment also has a pre-purchase option on their site! Since I’m sure this is going to be one hot item at SDCC! It’s PINK AND a DOLPHIN! Even if you’ve never been touched by breast cancer .. it’s a dolphin for $25!!! So head over to the Factory Entertainment Booth #2747 and grab your dolphin in person or order online to make sure you won’t miss this item. They carried the dolphin puppet last year as an exclusive at SDCC in the blue color from the show’s first season (in later season’s it’s gray) and it SOLD OUT! So make sure you grab your dolphin! I plan to buy one in memory of my beloved grandmother who fought breast cancer and won! I might even head over to the panel on Friday so I can be one the fans waving my pink dolphin!
The Pink Dolphin Project–Factory Entertainment fuses the spirit of fun and giving at San Diego Comic Con
The pink dolphins will be available at Factory Entertainment’s Comic-Con booth (#2747) or, for those who want to participate in the fundraiser but aren’t coming to Comic Con, through its website, www.factoryent.com.

I’m so excited to see Archer Live this weekend thanks to my friend Kieran who I met at SDCC a few years ago. Hmmm who to take ….
It’s the perfect opportunity to meet other Archer fans and maybe a geek connection?? Any man who finds Archer funny is my kind of guy since they must have a wicked sense of humor, a bit racy and of course an animation fan!
It fits in with my dating philosophy that your ideal person is someone who has common interests as opposed to trying to change someone to be your ‘idea’ dream person. I am REALLY into science fiction geek life so realize that I need to meet someone at one of the many conventions that I go to in SoCal and am planning to expand to other parts of the country in case my guy is in Nevada or Washington or New York. I know my Han Solo, Blake, Lando or Doctor Who is somewhere and looking for me. We just have to find each other .. maybe at Archer Live or elsewhere.
The Archer Live! Tour, featuring the all-star cast and producers of FX’s hit original animated comedy series, is coming to Club Nokia on Saturday, November 9th at 8:00pm. The Archer Live Tour is a must-see for every Archer fan!
