The future is now and Hero Complex Gallery has one final 2017 timed release for Drew Struzan’s Back to the Future artwork screen print. HCG used scans of the original painting to create the perfect print with close consultation and approval of Drew to make sure it looks like the original poster from the beloved trilogy. I remember seeing the first Back to the Future and falling in love with not only Marty and the Professor but the DeLorean! Those gull wing doors, the color and the crazy future that seemed so far away I wasn’t sure we’d even make it! Sadly I was never able to buy my dream car or travel to the future and the past but at least fans from across the world can now own a piece cinema history with the limited edition print. A lucky few will even have the print signed by Drew Struzan himself! This poster design will always bring back memories of not only seeing the movie as a kid in Davenport, IA but also my hopes for the future. So mark your calendar for the timed release and get your card ready for the perfect addition for any collector and an ideal Valentine Day gift to the love of your life, BFF, mom, dad or what the heck YOURSELF!

I’m so excited to see that Vice Press has released officially licensed limited edition screen prints for ‘Attack the Block’ by Matt Taylor and ‘Strontium Dog’ and ‘Judge Dredd’ by Matt Ferguson will be available at Thought Bubble Sequential Art Festival in Leeds November 14 & 15!

If your a fan of sci fi horror and have never seen Joe Cornish’s  ‘Attack of the Block’ run out and grab this delightful British film (it’s one of the best movies ‘that you’ve never seen’)! Matt has created a print that evokes the horror of low income neighborhood on it’s own defended by a bunch of juvenile delinquents!

Attack The Block by Matt Taylor Edition of 185 24”x18” Screen Print Glow In The Dark Ink Layer Printed by VG Kids 100# Construction Pure White French Paper £30

Strontium Dog by Matt Ferguson Edition of 100 18”x24” Screen Print With Metallic Inks Printed by Lady Lazarus 100# Cougar Natural £25

Judge Dredd by Matt Ferguson Edition of 120 12”x6” Screen Print Printed by White Duck Fenner Flora Giglio, the weight is 240gsm £10

Both pieces will be released exclusively at the Vice Press booth in the New Dock Hall Foyer at Thought Bubble Sequential Art Festival  in Leeds on Saturday the 14th of November and Sunday the 15th of November with remaining copies going online at Vice Press on Monday the 16th of November.

Vice Press will also be bringing along copies of Carlos Ezquerra’s “Dredd” screen print as well as the Vice Press t-shirt designed by Matt Ferguson and inspired by the classic “2000 AD” logo which are both currently available via the website.

From the producers of Shaun of the Dead, ATTACK THE BLOCK is a fast, funny, frightening action adventure movie that pits a teen street gang against an invasion of savage alien monsters. It turns a London housing project into a sci-fi battleground, the low-income apartment complex into a fortress under siege. And it turns a crazy mix of tough street kids into a team of kick ass heroes. It’s inner city versus outer space and it’s going to explode.
