Would you survive the Quiet Place with monsters that do not like loud or even quiet noises? I enjoyed this prequel that I saw in Imax and had lots of questions for Lupita! I settled on one that I was able to ask and liked what she had to say.
I was very excited to join the AAFACA Virtual Roundtable with Lupita Nyong’o to discuss her starring in the A Quiet Place prequel this weekend. All of the critics who joined the virtual roundtable asked thoughtful questions ranging for an indie short, working with the cat, silence, and if she offered any suggestions to the Director/Writer Walter Sarnoski.
Speaking with Lupita and hearing the other participating critics asking unique questions reflecting our viewpoints always makes me think and am sure all who consume our critics. I hope that you plan to see the film and leave a comment with your thoughts.
Being a member of the African-American Film Critics Association (AAFCA) is so exciting to speak with other critics, see screenings for coverage, and participate in the virtual roundtables.
