Batman Ninja is back in this new MAX Exclusive anime film, streaming July 3rd
This new original feature continues DC’s Dark Knight in Japanese anime style, after his return to modern-day Gotham City. He must go back to feudal-era Japan. His mission is to thwart the Yakuza League. They are past allies who have lost all honor and humanity. The Dark Knight finds an unexpected world where the Yakuza are at war with each other and brutally terrorize citizens.
Jumpei Mizusaki and Shinji Takagi directed the sequel. It was written by Kazuki Nakashima, with character designs by Takashi Okazaki and music by Yugo Kanno. The core creative team from “Batman Ninja” reunites for the sequel. Renowned voice actor Koichi Yamadera once again lends his voice to the Caped Crusader.
BATMAN NINJA VS. YAKUZA LEAGUE is a Warner Bros. Japan production in collaboration with Kamikaze Douga marks the latest example of Warner Bros. Discovery’s commitment to original anime storytelling for both local and international audiences.
The film was first teased at Anime Expo 2024 in Los Angeles, drawing excitement from fans worldwide.
