Schools in Session for the Monster High animated series

Nickelodeon & Mattel is launching the Monster High Universe this year

Monster High is going animated with the new original animated series based on the Mattel toy line that first launched in 2010. It’s been a favorite for years and has been refreshed with characters that are kids (and kids of the heart). The new set of dolls, accessories, apparel, and costumes will have parents remembering their own collection!

This is a great time for Monster High to launch as kids embrace being different and accepting others AND themselves! Like Madonna says ‘express yourself and with the new launch of dolls and more, tv movie musical, and animated series we can all be a witch, werewolf, gorgon, abominable, zombie, and vampire (to name a few of my personal favorite monsters).

You can see the trailer during the live-action tv movie musical Monster High the Movie on Nickelodeon. Nick has the added bonus of showing the FIRST FULL episode of the new animated series called ‘Food Fight’. Draculaura practices witchcraft and Clawdeen and Frankie must help her subdue the tater tot she brought to life. Then, in “Unfinished Brain-ness,” Frankie is “cursed” from their brain’s past life and gets help from Clawdeen and Draculaura to break it. The episode can be seen on the Nick App, Nick.com, and VOD beginning Friday, Oct. 7. Audiences can also see a sneak peek of Monster High beginning Friday, Oct. 7 on the Nickelodeon YouTube channel.

Monster High has 26 episodes of Clawdeen Wolf, Draculaura, Frankie Stein, and Deuce Gorgon as they get into hijinks like any other kid they just happen to have fangs, more fur, bandages, and more! The characters are voiced by Gabrielle Nevaeh Green as Clawdeen Wolf; Courtney Lin as Draculaura; Iris Menas as Frankie Stein; Tony Revolori as Deuce Gorgon; Kausar Mohammed as Cleo De Nile; Valeria Rodriguez as Lagoona Blue; Alexa Kahn as Torelei Stripe; Alexander Polinsky as Heath Burns; and Debra Wilson as Headmistress Bloodgood.

The new comedy adventure series premiers on Friday, October 28th at 7 PM (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon and in Canada, the UK, and Australia later in the year on Paramount+ and Nickelodeon.

The animated series team is led by Shea Fontana (Polly Pocket) who serves as showrunner and co-executive producer of Monster High, with Nick Filippi (Big Hero 6: The Series) as supervising producer. Production is overseen for Nickelodeon by Claudia Spinelli, Senior Vice President, of Big Kids Animation, and Nikki Price, Director of Franchise Animation. Fred Soulie, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Mattel Television, and Christopher Keenan, Senior Vice President of Creative, serve as executive producers for Mattel.
