American Rust:Broken Justice, the second season of the American Rust saga, is now available to stream on Prime Video.

Based on Philipp Meyer’s critically acclaimed novel of the same name, the first season of American Rust premiered on Showtime, exploring the tattered American Dream in a Rust Belt town in southwest Pennsylvania through the eyes of police chief Del Harris (Jeff Daniels). Harris becomes compromised when the son of the woman he loves (Maura Tierney) is accused of murder, and he is forced to decide what he’s willing to do to protect him.

Season Two picks up with a string of seemingly unrelated murders, hinting at a much larger conspiracy that threatens everyone in this small, tight-knit town.

Cherry the Geek TV spoke with American Rust:Broken Rust showrunners and creators Dan Futterman and Adam Rapp about the new season and how the film No Country For Old Men influenced it. You can watch the full interview by clicking on the link below:

Cherry the Geek TV also spoke with actors Mark Pellegrino and Alex Neustaedter, who play the father/son duo Virgil and Billy Poe. We talk about what viewers can expect to see with their characters in season two and what they do to keep things light on the set.
