Emily Arancio, who stars as Zinnia in the new dystopian drama Motherland, spoke with Cherry the Geek TV about the film.
The film, directed by Evan Matthews, is set in an alternate modern day society where the state frees parents from the burden of raising children. One of the rule enforcers learns a shocking truth that sparks a rebellion. The film also stars Tony award winner Miriam Silverman as Cora, and Emmy Award winners Holland Taylor (The Morning Show) and Nestor Carbonell (Lost, The Morning Show).
