Star Trek: Starfleet Academy is now streaming on Paramount+ and Cherry the Geek TV spoke with the cast and creators of the show about working on the show and what we can expect as season one progresses. You can watch the interviews by clicking on the links below.
First we talked with Executive Producers and Showrunners Alex Kurtzman and Noga Landau about the creation of the show and casting Holly Hunter as the Academy’s Chancellor.
We spoke with two of the Academy’s instructors- Gina Yashere, who plays the half-Klingon/half-Jem’Hadar Lura Thok, and Robert Picardo, who returns to the Star Trek universe in his role as The Doctor.
We then spoke with the cadets. First, we spoke with George Hawkins, Kerrice Brooks, and Sandro Rosta, who play Darem, SAM, and Caleb.
Finally, we spoke with the rest of the cadets– Zoë Steiner, Karim Diané, and Bella Shepard, who play Tarima, Jay-Den, and Genesis.
