Heavy Metal & Genseven Creations are at SDCC

Heavy Metal has been around for a long time, so it’s exciting news that Genseven Creations are working together as they work to expand into new creative endeavors and across platforms. You can find them at SDCC Exhibitor Booth #4804 with merchandise and artists Olivia De Berardinis (aka Olivia), JOK, writer Josh Sky and other notables including the creative team of Zac Atkinson, Allen Ling, John ” Jar” Rodriguez and Jeremiah Lambert that produced “The Rescuer”.  

Heavy Metal, the legendary sci-fi, fantasy, and horror brand, is undergoing a major renaissance after the success of its two Kickstarter campaigns and a new round of strategic investment, the 50-year-old publishing icon continues expanding its reach into television, film, gaming, and collectibles. Visitors to the booth will be treated to SDCC variant covers of multiple issues and exclusives. 

Genseven Creations, an independent publishing house founded in 2018, focuses on original graphic novels that deliver unique, character-driven narratives.  Recently their “Rescuer” series received a studio production contract to create a series. Genseven Creations founder Allen Ling also invested in Heavy Metal International as part of the strategic investor round and will play an active part in the brands future. Genseven will also present a selection of exclusive SDCC merchandise at the booth.
