Myths, Monsters and Legends

Longtime friends and art-world bigwigs Rankin and Damien Hirst turn their attention to the ancient world for this collaborative show that will head to London after its Los Angeles debut. Not sure what to expect? Think bright colors and creepy images.

Myths, Monsters & Legends

Rankin Gallery
Los Angeles

13th October – 5th Nov

Long-term friends, Rankin and artist Damien Hirst, leverage their respective creative mediums and shared dark wit in a project born out of a joint fascination with the ancient world, and an interest in contextualising it in a modern environment.
Model, Dani Smith, was the inspiration in bringing their shared vision to life.
The project is an exploration of imagined narratives and monsters of past civilizations, viewed through a modern lens. 4768 6 016n 2 copy
