The 2021 Academy Awards are right around the corner, and Elvira Lind, the writer/director of one of this year’s amazing Oscar Nominated Live-Action short films, “The Letter Room“, sat down with Cherry the Geek TV to discuss her film.

The Letter Room” stars Lind’s husband Oscar Isaac (Star Wars Episodes 7-9, Inside Llewyn Davis, Marvel’s Moon Knight, Dune) as a corrections officer named Richard who is assigned to a new job in his prison’s mail room. His job is to screen all of the incoming mail before it can be delivered to the inmates. During his work, he slowly starts to become emotionally invested in the prisoners’ personal lives. The film also stars Search Party and Arrested Development actress Alia Shawkat, John Douglas Thompson, Brian Petsos, and Eileen Galindo.
