Diversity in Fantasy is back at SDCC for the fourth year with authors and creators speaking about seeing themselves in the genre that inspires them. The panel members and host will discuss representation, cultural authenticity, and fantasy storytelling with color! This year’s panel will take place on Friday, July 24, from 6:00–7:00 PM in Room 09 and will once again be moderated by content creator and host Tiffie Starchild.

The conversation will explore the joy, challenge, and necessity of writing fantasy that speaks to a broader, more diverse audience, because everyone deserves to see themselves as the hero of the story.
