Fangoria’s Annual Horror Movie Prop and Costume Live Auction on October 30, 2011 –  11 a.m., at Premiere Props

With all the storied props and costumes that have come up for auction recently, you could stock movie museums around the world. Such treasures as Dorothy’s ruby slippers and Marilyn’s white dress from TheSeven Year Itch fetched record prices globally, and now, just in time for Halloween, comes a different breed of memorabilia auction. At Premiere’s prop warehouse in El Segundo, Fangoriamagazine and Premiere Props will team up to offer Freddy Kruger’s sweater from A Nightmare on Elm Street and a “large, dirty cross” from The Exorcist. Viscera and limbs from the Saw movies will also be on the block—see if you’ve got the guts to check them out
