“Jurassic World—The Ride,” taking a bite this Summer

Spread the love
Inspired by Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment’s Global Blockbuster Franchise, the Mega Attraction Will Fuse 21st-Century Technology and Astounding Special Effects with New Dinosaurs from the Jurassic World Film

I’m not the only person excite for Universal Studios Hollywood new mega attraction, “Jurassic World—The Ride,” opening this summer! It will be based on the Jurassic World films from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment. “Jurassic World—The Ride” will immerse guests into newly themed environments and breathe new life into dimensional animatronic dinosaurs, including some all-new fan favorites featured in the Jurassic World films from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment.

You might wonder who’s behind the new experience well it’s the award-winning Universal Creative, the Academy Award®-winning special-effects visionaries at Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), a division of Lucasfilm, Ltd., the brand stewards at Universal Pictures and acclaimed filmmakers Steven Spielberg, Colin Trevorrow and Frank Marshall.

It’s an original storyline within the theme park from Jurassic World and will have new dinosaurs from the film, lush scenic design, and ground-breaking technology that has yet to be experienced within a theme park.

The moment guests enter they will see new stonework landscaping and a new redesign of the pillars with flames supporting the ‘Jurassic World’ entry way. It will include education with the fun! While waiting in the entrance que videos featuring dino facts and info about the ride will offer a clue of the chills and wonder to expect. Dinosaurs may have roamed the earth 65 million years ago but in the ride it will feel like it’s happening today!

The riders will climb aboard specially designed rafts as they get to explore Jurassic World from vegetation to gentle giants like the Stegosaurus and Parasaurolophus but need to keep an eye out for the deadly Velociraptors and Dilophosaurus who look at us as an easy dinner! When the Tyrannosaurus rex begins to battle one of the attraction’s new behemoth dinosaurs, the rafts will spill down a treacherous 84-foot waterfall as the sole means of escape so get ready for some heart pounding action!

I totally fell in love with Blue in Jurassic World so am excited for the “Raptor Encounter” where we get to meet the queen and her court up close!

The ride has an interactive “Dino Play” area for kids that will have educational components that allow them to play paleontologist with excavations of giant dinosaur fossils.
