The 2013 Tony Award Winning Broadway Musical returns June 19- 24, 2018 to the Pantages Theatre
The 2013 Tony Award Winning Rodger’s + Hammerstein’s Cinderella isn’t the one your grandparents took you to see as a child. It’s kept the classic iconic elements of glass slippers, pumpkins and the grand ball but have added some modern changes to keep it fresh. That’s why it won the Tony! The reimagined Cinderella coming to the Pantages in 2018 is a more modern woman that happens to be in a fairy tale. Cinderella puts the sass in being the a scullery maid and won’t let the ‘man’ well her evil stepmother and sisters take away her spirt, kindness, compassion, forgiveness and heart full of love. She might be in rags but that glass slipper is just around the corner. This is the romcom musical where the girl from the wrong side of the tracks steals the prince’s heart with great dance steps and a song.
