The new co-op focus platform fighter game MultiVersus dropped its open beta version for players this week, and the games developers and voice talent were on hand at Comic-Con International in San Diego to talk about the game with Cherry the Geek TV.

MultiVersus is a free-to-play crossover fighting game developed by Player First Games and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The game features various characters within the Warner Bros. Discovery catalog, including those from Warner Bros., DC Comics, HBO, Turner Entertainment, and Cartoon Network.

We spoke to actress Tara Strong, who voices Harley Quinn. “This game is incredibly fun because players have access to so many characters that would never co-exist in their own universes, and they get to really interact, work together, and fight together,” said Strong. “They all have their own special skill sets that are unique to who they are as characters. It’s fun to see how they all go together in this game,” noting that Harley Quinn fights in the game with Batman plushies that explode.

MultiVersus is coming to Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X with cross-play support and dedicated server-based rollback netcode and content-filled seasons. Open beta for MultiVersus launched on July 26th.
