It’s time to go back to the 60s with the Wonder Years

To celebrate the premiere of ‘The Wonder Years’ ABC is taking us back to our childhood with a fun leap into the 60s! If you are in Hollywood head to Highland and Franklin (1787 North Highland Ave, LA, CA 90028) for gas and burgers tomorrow Sept 22^nd from 11AM – 7PM PT. The celebration is a time capsule with $0.34 a gallon gas, milkshakes, burgers! Who doesn’t want to go back to the 60s??? 

The new series stars Elisha “EJ” Williams, Dulé Hill, Saycon Sengbloh, Laura Kariuki, Julian Lerner, Amari O’Neil and Milan Ray in a reimagination of the classic series told from the viewpoint of a 12-year-old boy navigating being a pre-teen, first crush, school, siblings and parents with a ‘little help from his friends’.

 “The Wonder Years” stars Don Cheadle, narrating the series as adult Dean Williams, Elisha “EJ” Williams as Dean Williams, Dulé Hill as Bill Williams, Saycon Sengbloh as Lillian Williams, Laura Kariuki as Kim Williams, Julian Lerner as Brad Hitman, Amari O’Neil as Cory Long and Milan Ray as Keisa Clemmons. It’s a coming-of-age comedy that follows the Williams family during the late 1960s all told from the viewpoint of Dean their 12-year-old son. Dean looks back on his childhood with the eyes of an adult as he goes down memory lane as a middle-class Black family with all the love, fighting, family, and friends in Montgomery, Alabama. He looks back at his childhood that makes him the man he is today.
