I’m going to see Free Angela and All Political Prisoners TONIGHT and so should YOU

Spread the love

Free Angela and All Political PrisonersI first heard about this movie watching MSNBC’s Melissa Harris-Perry weekend show (LOVE me some Melissa who drops some knowledge on me EVERY weekend) where she spoke with the young director Shola Lynch about how she got the film financed (big thanks to Jada Pinkett Smith!) and how she became curious about this part of American History and yes I said AMERICAN history not Black history but OUR nation’s history.  It really sparked my curiosity and so plan to lend my support, my dollars (ticket price) and voice to this documentary   PLEASE go see it at the theaters this weekend and if it’s not coming to your hometown DEMAND it!  It’s the history of Angela Davis but their are people in the United States right now who are political prisoners and just well innocent!

So if your in Los Angeles join me at the 7pm showing and be prepared to learn something!
