White teen in Miss. accused of running down black man pleads not guilty to capital murder – The Washington Post.

I heard about this vicious crime earlier this year on the news but must admit to forgetting about it once my life took a more stressful turn.  I’m very curious about how this case will play out since it’s rare for a white person to face capital charges for the death of a minority let alone a black man.  I wonder if it will be a jury trial.  I plan to watch this to see how he’s prosecuted and what the final verdict will be since it could be transferred to Federal Courts since it seems to be a hate crime.
