Funky Outdoor Festival Spins Back Into Downtown Santa Monica with KCRW DJ’s Raul Campos, Travis Holcombe, & Anthony Valadez
Get ready for free fun on Saturday, August 22nd in Santa Monica! 
KCRW DJs are spinning tunes at the annual Third Street Promenade Outdoor DJ Festival. It’s a great way to enjoy the end of summer with music and dancing under the stars.
Are you ready for a blast of sound to wash over the beach? Well Downtown Santa Monica Third Street Promenade? It’s a great opportunity to have fun, socialize with friends and (of course) get your flirt on with a blast of funk with Sonic Submarine, it’s an outdoor DJ music festival that’s taking place August 22 from 6 – 11pm. It stretches from Santa Monica Blvd to Arizona Avenue for pedestrians to listen to great music and also enjoy the chance to meander down the street 
. It’s from DTSM, Inc., with three of KCRW’s premier on-air disc jockeys who will roll out hour-long sets in succession as the moon grooves its way to the Pacific.Sonic Submarine DJ Lineup

“After last year’s show, we knew we had to bring Sonic Submarine back. Third Street Promenade is the cultural hub of this city’s incredible energy – we can’t wait to turn up the beat and once again dance like everyone is watching… because they are! This isthe Promenade, after all,” says Mackenzie Carter, Director of Marketing & Operations for DTSM Inc.
Last year, over 500 people turned up for the festival, which is free to the public.
